Who are we?

Next Generation Nikkei (NGN) is a young adult led program of Japanese American Citizens League Chicago Chapter that strengthens community relationships through youth engagement, leadership development, social justice education, and advocacy. We strive to cultivate joy and empower the next generation of Nikkei leaders!

Next Generation Nikkei is a group organized by young adults for young adults. Next Gen Nikkei has regular social events and hangouts. There are also opportunities to volunteer with JACL Chicago and develop professional skills. Through Next Gen Nikkei, members are able to build a diverse professional and social network, learn more about JACL Chicago, and grow with and through community leadership.
