Kansha Project Culmination

June 23 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Join us for the 2018 Kansha Project Culmination! Meet this year’s 12 participants following their 4-day long trip. Come hear about the stories and experiences they had on their trip and view their reflection projects.

The Kansha Project is a JACL Chicago program that connects self-identified Japanese Americans, ages 18-25, to the continuing legacy of the Japanese American incarceration during WWII. The program centers around an educational trip to Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo neighborhood and Manzanar National Historic Site.

The event is free and open to the public.
Free parking is available in the Lakeside Church parking lot.
